Offre de postdoctorat au LMA en collaboration avec SYOS

Le projet se place dans le cadre d’un partenariat ambitieux entre le Laboratoire de Mécanique et d’Acoustique (http://www.lma.cnrs-mrs.fr/) et la société SYOS (https://www.syos.co/fr) et se propose de développer des anches de saxophone en matériaux composites plus durables et de qualité constante (i.e. plus reproductibles que les anches en roseau) tout en créant un catalogue d’anches associées aux ressentis musicaux du saxophoniste (psycho-acoustique).

Durée : 18 mois
Salaire : de 2500 à 2800 brut / mois (selon expérience)

The Department of Music Acoustics – Wiener Klangstil (IWK) is an interdisciplinary research institute carrying out basic and applied research spanning diverse fields including music acoustics, performance science, psychoacoustics, music informatics, and music psychology. Embedded in a world-leading music university, its mission is to engage in fruitful interactions with performing musicians, singers, conductors, instrument makers and music teachers alike. The successful candidate is required to have a doctoral degree in a relevant field to ensure a broad and substantial expertise in music acoustics, outstanding scientific qualification (such as a Habilitation or equivalent achievements), strong international publication record, documented experience in teaching at university level in core areas of music acoustics (such as music instrument acoustics, virtual acoustics, playing technique/performance research, perception of music), experience in independently acquiring and implementing externally-funded projects, and desirably English and German skills at a high level.
